Jay Goenka | Director - Dynamix Group

The Dynamix Group – one of India’s oldest real estate development groups – is led by Jay Goenka. He is the third generation Goenka family member to lead the Group. Starting his career at the age of 20, he quickly earned the respect of his senior team members and contemporaries due to his work ethic, attention to detail, and intuitive grasp of the business. He currently oversees 5 ongoing projects, across over 3 million sqft, and a development pipeline of over 7 million sqft across Mumbai and Goa.

Prior to joining the Dynamix Group, Jay worked as a Director on the board of DB Realty Ltd, a large listed real estate developer based out of Mumbai. Whilst working at DB Realty Ltd, Jay worked on and actively managed various large projects, with a consolidated top line revenue potential of $2 billion, with a specific focus on design, project management and securing approvals. Jay also interned with the prestigious “Global Economics” team at McKinsey and Company’s Knowledge Centre during his university summer vacation.

Jay is an active board member at Barefoot College International, an NGO founded by social activist Bunker Roy. The NGO’s work is focused on women’s empowerment through literacy and vocational training, with a special emphasis on solar electrification. The NGO started off in Tilonia in rural Rajasthan, and currently spans the globe, providing contextually relevant solutions to rural issues.

A straight-A student, Jay completed his high school education from Aiglon College, a reputed Swiss boarding school, where he was chosen Head Boy in his final year. He subsequently enrolled at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where and he graduated with a BSc (Honours) First Class, in Philosophy and Economics.

Jay is an avid runner, having participated in various distance running events. In his spare time, he enjoys reading political philosophy, ethics, and business books.
