Quenching system- PlS – Program logic control system
Quenching is the rapid cooling of TMT bars in the water to obtain certain material properties.
By using program logic control system and auto water system for high pressure, water at certain pressure will get sprayed on to steel rods of 1000°C, which will reduce to 200°C
Using PUC technology, based on the temperature of steel rods, required pressure is to be maintained and water need to be sprayed on the rod to acquire desired temperature which helps them attain higher yield strength.
